When you are heading to the countryside from a big city like Prague for a weekend, you are mainly looking for leaving back all the stress, trafic and "people everywhere" feeling and inspire good healthy air.
When hearing and wacthing the first group of pensioner and the little children runing, fighting, screaming and crying, we realized that it was not the place. And don´t get me wrong. Adrspach-Teplice Rocks is a really beatiful place where you could stands for days with your mouth open and taking wonderful pictures. All that surrounds you is green except for this amazing rock towers with several forms everywhere.
The area of the Adršpach -Teplice Rocks lies in North East Bohemia. The place is characterised by its multitude of rock towers, gorges, rock walls, and narrow passageways. Nature has had such an influence on this landscape that it had created a variety of sandstone rocks in the most bizarre shapes over the passage of time. The River Metuje flows through the reserve and the water from here forms the small Adršpach Lake amidst the rocky areas. So, Adrspach-Teplice rocks yes definitly, but not in late spring or summer (if you have the choise...)
